South Carolina Court Rules for Breakaway Episcopal Diocese

A circuit court in South Carolina ruled today that the breakaway Episcopal Diocese of South Carolina can keep its name and its property.

    1. No, but that’s an interesting question. I haven’t been following it enough to know what relationships the diocese has now that its old relationships are dissolved.

      I wrote a couple of articles about UMC property issues about a year ago, and I thought this development had some bearing on that.
